The Playtime Group meets for parents and their children on Wednesdays from 9:30am-11:00am with activities designed for 0-4 year olds. A typical Playtime morning includes a story and song, a craft, morning tea and plenty of play both inside and outside in our adventure playground. Bible related themes, stories, crafts and songs are included in our program. Bring a piece of fruit to share for morning tea and $2 per child.

During school terms we hold Children’s Church during the second half of the morning worship service for children in school years Prep to Grade 6. We aim for a fun and relevant program which may include songs, craft and games and hope that our children will look forward to coming to Church. During 4th term 2016 we will be doing the What on Earth am I Here For curriculum, along with the rest of NEB, which will help children discover their purpose in life.
KOOL KIDS (CRECHE)
Kool Kids runs during the second half of our Sunday morning church service and is offered to children from the time they can walk until they start school. Typically, children will hear a bible story, sing a song, do some craft, and have some play time. Unlike the school aged Sunday programs Kool Kids operates all year round allowing families to participate in morning worship.
LOOSENDS OUTSIDE SCHOOL HOURS CARE
Loosends is an Outside School Hour Care service administered by North-East Baptist Church as part of our service to God and the community. We care for pre-schoolers and primary aged children. The program runs every school day from 7:00-9:00am and from 2:30-6:00pm. The staff are employed to care for the children and seek to meet their physical, emotional, social and spiritual needs. The children take part in various activities, games and crafts and sometimes watch videos. Children are also assisted to complete homework.
