Do you know Jesus?

If you're a member of the human race then you are a child of God and He loves you so much! This is not just any old 'love', but a love that will last forever and one which drove him to give his own son, Jesus to die in your place.

Despite God’s deep love for us, the Bible says "all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God" (Romans 3:23). That means that every human being has failed to meet the perfect standard of God's goodness and righteousness. We have failed because we have done things our way, not God's way.

The just penalty for our sin, the wrong things every one of us have done, is spiritual death; separation from God. But ever since man had first sinned, God had planned a permanent solution.

The plan was this: to send his own son, Jesus, to be born as a human baby and live on this earth. Jesus lived a perfect, sinless life, and voluntarily offered His own life as a sacrifice to pay the penalty for our sin.

God has done His part. Jesus gave His own life as a punishment for you - for all of us. We didn't deserve it, but that didn’t stop God from giving us one last chance to get back in relationship with Him.

But now the decision is yours. Do you want to accept this gift of forgiveness, this promise of eternal life? If you want to be free from this punishment, and live your life in relationship with God, you need to decide to surrender to God and do things His way from now on.
